Dominikus Golsong, is Associate General Counsel and Vice President Legal & Compliance for Europe Middle East & Africa (EMEA) of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company; he is also Chief Legal Officer, Secretary and executive board member of Goodyear Dunlop Tires Europe BV. He has overall responsibility for legal affairs and compliance for the Europe, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa region of Goodyear / Goodyear.
Prior to joining Goodyear Dunlop, he was Associate General Counsel International of Dow Corning Corporation and General Counsel of Dow Corning Europe, Middle East, Africa as well as Executive Board Member of Dow Corning affiliated companies in Europe.
Prior to joining Dow Corning, he was in private practice in the field of corporate, M&A, financial and international transactions with the New York law firm of Sullivan & Cromwell and the Brussels law firm of Linklaters (ex De Bandt).
D. Golsong earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from Columbia University in the City of New-York, has a JD degree in law from the University of Lausanne, Switzerland, a Young Manager Degree from INSEAD, an Advanced Development Program Degree from the London Business School and a Facilitative Management Certificate from the University of Michigan.
D. Golsong is a member of various associations including the International Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Michigan Bar Association, the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC), the Belgian Institute of Company Lawyers (IJE) and the French Association of Company Lawyers (AFJE).
Born in Strasbourg, France, of German father and Belgian mother, is married to a Belgian wife and has two children. He lives presently in Brussels; his international experience has led him to live in France, Germany, Switzerland, the USA, Belgium and to travel in numerous other countries, especially in Europe, Asia, Middle East, Africa.
