ATT. MED. NİHAT ŞİMŞEK
MEMBER OF TURKISH MEDIATION BOARD
Nihat Şimsek was born in Kayseri in 1971. He graduated from Ankara University Law Faculty in 1995.
Mr. Şimsek assumed the title of authorized Patent/Trademark/Industrial Design Attorney from Turkish Patent Institute in 1999. Afterwards, he founded Netmer Patent Ltd. Co. and is currently performing the task of chairman of the board.
In 2002, he was elected to the board of directors of Consumers Association, one of Turkey’s oldest consumer associations. He was also a member of the Market Hall Consumer Arbitral Tribunal until it was closed in 2003.
Justice Minister Bekir Bozdağ appointed Mr. Şimşek as Ministry of Justice Mediation Committee Board Member in 2013, soon after he was chosen as Examination Board Member.
In 2003, he was selected to Kayseri Patient Rights Council and currently continues this duty. Mr. Şimşek is married and the father of 5 children.
