Fikret Sebilcioğlu is a Managing Partner of Cerebra, an independent accounting, audit and advisory firm based in İstanbul, Turkey. He has more than 20 years of experience managing accounting, financial statement audit, financial reporting, internal controls, forensic audits and compliance initiatives.
Fikret has assisted many international clients in Turkey in the fields of financial reporting, internal controls, internal audit and Sarbanes & Oxley compliance. Since 2009 Fikret has conducted many fraud investigations concerning white-collar crimes, assets misappropriation, bribery and corruption, kickback schemes, financial statements frauds, FCPA and UK Bribery Act compliance.
Prior to Cerebra, Fikret worked with PwC for 15 years from 1993 to 2008 both in İstanbul, Turkey and Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
He is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Public Accountant and Registered Independent Auditor. Fikret is a board member of Ethics & Reputation Society and a member of ACFE Turkey and Corporate Governance Association of Turkey.
